As there are descriptive, narrative, and expository papers, there is also the argumentative one. In fact, certain people do not understand thoroughly the way in which such argumentative nature should manifest itself. Yet, to be aware of it, one has to know that an argumentative paper is featured by an argument around which a discussion containing the opinion and the stance of the writer is developed accordingly. To argue is to be either for or against a certain action, deed, and any topic that is susceptible to discussion.
